Public Advisory

Authorities are reminding the public, especially parents and guardians, to take extra precautions:

  • Ensure children practice proper handwashing with soap and water.
  • Disinfect toys, gadgets, and surfaces frequently touched.
  • Avoid sending children to school if they show symptoms of HFMD such as fever, rashes, or mouth sores.
  • Consult a healthcare professional immediately if symptoms appear.

The IGACOS LGU emphasized that community cooperation is vital to prevent the further spread of HFMD, urging everyone to remain vigilant and prioritize hygiene and health safety at all times.

Strong Reminder: HFMD is preventable with proper hygiene and awareness. Let us protect our children and communities by following safety protocols and avoiding exposure to this contagious disease.
