Kidapawan City — Get your appetite and your camera ready — this year’s Timpupo Festival is serving something bigger, sweeter, and juicier than ever! On August 26, 2025, the much-awaited “Fruits Eat-All-You-Can sa Dalan” returns, now stretching an impressive two kilometers of pure tropical goodness.

What started in 2023 as a humble one-kilometer stretch of tables overflowing with fruits has since grown — quite literally — into a delicious tradition that captures both the taste buds and the hearts of locals and tourists alike. In 2024, it extended to 1.5 kilometers, drawing more visitors and going viral on social media with vibrant images of durians, marang, lanzones, and other colorful tropical treats. This year, organizers are taking it to the next level, doubling the length to make room for even more guests and to keep the experience relaxed and crowd-free.

From the first bite of creamy durian to the fragrant sweetness of marang, visitors can enjoy unlimited helpings — for free! The event is not only a feast for the palate but also a lively celebration of Kidapawan’s rich harvest season, bringing together farmers, residents, and guests from nearby towns and provinces.

Mayor Pao Evangelista, in his lighthearted reminder, encourages everyone to eat to their heart’s content but leave the hoarding at home. “Kumain lang, huwag maghakot,” he quipped, adding that participants should bring their own drinking water and help keep the streets clean after the feast.

With the stretch of tables set against the festive backdrop of the Timpupo Festival, expect laughter, chatter, and the irresistible aroma of fresh fruits filling the air. Whether you come for the durian, the camaraderie, or the perfect Instagram shot, this year’s two-kilometer fruit extravaganza promises to be a sweet, sticky, and unforgettable celebration.

So mark your calendars, loosen your belts, and get ready for a mouthwatering stroll down the happiest highway in Kidapawan!
