KABACAN, North Cotabato — A man was shot along the national highway in Barangay Kayaga, Kabacan, this Thursday, August 21.
The victim was identified as Sambutuan Sali, also known by the alias “Sambutuwan,” a resident of Barangay Pagagawan, Datu Montawal, Maguindanao del Sur.
Initial reports said the incident happened at midday, prompting bystanders to rush the victim to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment. His condition has yet to be disclosed.
Authorities are still conducting an investigation to determine the motive and identify the perpetrators behind the attack.
