TAGO, SURIGAO DEL SUR – The human skull discovered in Dreamland, Barangay Alba, on August 24, 2025, has been positively identified by family members as that of Rhambe Callao, a missing bao-bao driver.
Authorities confirmed the identification after Callao’s family recognized his personal belongings and clothing found with the remains. Callao went missing on the night of July 19, 2025, after leaving home to take passengers. He never returned since then.
His disappearance left deep grief for his wife and seven children, who had been searching for answers for more than a month.
Police said investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances behind Callao’s death, including the possibility of foul play.
Local officials have urged anyone with information related to the incident to coordinate with authorities to aid the probe.
