KIDAPAWAN CITY – Four high-value drug personalities were arrested in a joint anti-illegal drugs operation on July 24, 2025, in Barangay Poblacion, Kidapawan City, following the implementation of a search warrant led by authorities from Police Regional Office 12 (PRO-12).

The coordinated operation involved personnel from the Kidapawan City Police Station, the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cotabato Police Provincial Office, the North Cotabato Highway Patrol Team, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cotabato Provincial Office.

Arrested during the raid were alias “Allan,” 37, identified as the drug den maintainer; alias “Randy,” 39, who worked as a drug den employee; and alias “Baldo,” 38, and alias “Wally,” 36, both patrons of the den. All suspects are residents of Kidapawan City.

Seized from the site were 18 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 34.5 grams, with an estimated street value of ₱234,600.00, along with assorted drug paraphernalia.

The suspects are currently in the custody of the Kidapawan City Police Station for documentation and filing of appropriate charges. The confiscated illegal drugs and evidence have been turned over to the PDEA Cotabato Provincial Office for further investigation.

In a statement, PRO-12 Regional Director PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente lauded the successful operation, saying: “This successful operation highlights the strong partnership between PRO 12 and PDEA in our shared mission to eliminate illegal drugs. The dismantling of this drug den is a significant blow to local drug activities and a clear message that we will not allow our communities to be breeding grounds for criminality.”
