Kidapawan City, Cotabato — Authorities arrested a 64-year-old grandmother in a joint anti-drug operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cotabato and the Kidapawan City Police at Purok 2A, Barangay Manongol, around 1:45 a.m. on September 25, 2025.
The suspect was identified as Felisa Cabisada Ajao, also known by her aliases “Eliz” and “Ambi,” a widow and vegetable vendor residing in the same barangay. Reports revealed that she was a former drug surrenderer during the Duterte administration but allegedly returned to illegal drug activities due to temptation.
Confiscated from her possession were 10 sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 2 grams, with an estimated street value of ₱13,000 to ₱13,600, along with a black shoulder bag containing drug paraphernalia, including an improvised aluminum foil tooter, a lighter, and an improvised bamboo sealer.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Kidapawan City Police, while charges for violating Sections 11 and 12 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against her.
