BUTUAN CITY, Philippines — The Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (ADNPPO) under the leadership of Provincial Director PCOL April Mark C. Young successfully conducted a series of intensified law enforcement activities under the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) on June 13 to 14, 2025, yielding 24 significant accomplishments across the province.

In his report, PCOL Young highlighted the successful arrest of six wanted individuals — including three classified as Most Wanted Persons (MWP) and three under the category of Other Wanted Persons. The operations led to the apprehension of a Top 10 MWP at the regional level and two others ranked in the Top 3 and Top 5 MWPs at the provincial level.

A key accomplishment in the two-day campaign was the confiscation and surrender of 11 illegal fishing paraphernalia as part of the anti-illegal fishing drive. Additionally, one non-Periodical Status Report (PSR)-listed member of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) voluntarily surrendered to authorities.

In the campaign against loose firearms, five accomplishments were recorded through voluntary surrender of unlicensed firearms, contributing to efforts to reduce gun-related violence in the province.

Meanwhile, one successful operation was carried out against illegal gambling, resulting in the confiscation of bet money and documentation of suspects.

All arrested suspects and confiscated items were brought to their respective police stations for proper documentation and legal disposition.

PCOL Young praised the dedication and teamwork of the Agusan del Norte police personnel in ensuring the success of the operation.

“These arrests serve as a strong message that no criminal can escape the long arm of the law. AgNorte remains relentless in its pursuit of justice, ensuring that those who violate the law are held accountable. We will not waver in our commitment to making Agusan del Norte a safer place for all,” he stated.

The ADNPPO continues to urge the public to stay vigilant and report any information related to fugitives or criminal activities through the Philippine National Police (PNP) hotline or the nearest police station.
