Agusan del Norte – A total of 68 law violators were apprehended during a weeklong Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) conducted by the Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (ADNPPO) from March 23 to 30, 2025.

Led by Provincial Director PCOL April Mark C. Young, the operation resulted in significant arrests and seizures across various anti-crime campaigns.

In the campaign against wanted persons, authorities arrested four Most Wanted Persons and nine others with outstanding warrants. Among these, the ADNPPO successfully apprehended two high-profile individuals ranked in the Top 10 Most Wanted at the regional level and two others at the municipal level.

The anti-illegal drug operations led to the arrest of six individuals. Four were captured through search warrants, while two were apprehended in buy-bust operations. Authorities seized approximately 12.56 grams of shabu, valued at Php 85,728, based on the Dangerous Drugs Board estimates.

During anti-illegal fishing operations, 28 illegal fishing paraphernalia were either surrendered or confiscated.

The campaign against insurgency also saw five members of the Communist Terrorist Group voluntarily surrender, with one handing over a firearm and another turning in an explosive device.

In the crackdown on illegal gambling, authorities recorded two successful operations, seizing Php 2,794 in bet money.

Meanwhile, the campaign against loose firearms led to 13 cases—eight firearms were surrendered voluntarily, while five were recovered through search warrants.

All arrested individuals and confiscated evidence were turned over to the respective police stations for proper documentation and legal processing.

PCOL Young lauded the relentless efforts of police chiefs, PMFC commanders, and operatives of the ADNPPO. “We will continue to fight against all forms of criminality and will not rest until all wanted persons and lawbreakers are put behind bars,” he stated.

The successful implementation of SACLEO reflects the intensified commitment of the Agusan del Norte police force to ensuring peace and order in the province.
