President Roxas, Cotabato — April 8, 2025 — A man listed among the most wanted individuals in Region 12 was arrested in a joint law enforcement operation on Tuesday afternoon in Barangay Sarayan, President Roxas, Cotabato.
The suspect, identified only by the alias “Rob,” 34 years old, married, and a resident of Purok 7, Barangay Sarayan, was arrested at around 4:00 p.m. He is ranked as the Top 9 Most Wanted Person at the regional level.
The successful operation was conducted through the collaborative efforts of multiple law enforcement units, including the President Roxas Municipal Police Station, Cotabato Police Provincial Office, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) North Cotabato, 1203rd Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 12, Highway Patrol Team, and the Regional Intelligence Division 12’s Tracker Team Echo.
Alias “Rob” was apprehended by virtue of two warrants of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 61, 12th Judicial Region, Kidapawan City, dated April 3, 2025. The first warrant was for violation of Republic Act 9516 or the Illegal Possession of Explosives, with no bail recommended. The second warrant was for violation of Section 32 of Republic Act 10591, also known as the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, with bail set at Php200,000.
Following his arrest, the suspect was brought to the CIDG North Cotabato Office for proper documentation and further legal procedures.
Authorities emphasized that the operation is part of the intensified campaign of the Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) against criminality and wanted persons.
PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente, Regional Director of PRO 12, commended the operating teams for their swift and coordinated efforts. “We will continue to pursue criminals and fugitives to ensure that peace and order prevail in our communities,” Ardiente said.
He also urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or the whereabouts of wanted individuals in their areas, reaffirming the importance of community cooperation in maintaining public safety.
