Tandag City, Surigao del Sur — Police authorities in Surigao del Sur scored a major breakthrough in their campaign against criminality with the arrest of a provincial-level Top 5 Most Wanted Person, tagged in two counts of Kidnapping for Ransom and a case of Carnapping.
The suspect, identified only by his alias “Toto,” a 49-year-old resident of Purok 3, Barangay Ampayon, Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, was apprehended during a coordinated law enforcement operation on April 11, 2025, around 5:30 p.m. in Purok 4, Barangay Ampayon.
The operation was spearheaded by personnel of the Barobo Municipal Police Station under the leadership of PMAJ Nurlsan T.
