ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat — The Sultan Kudarat Police Provincial Office (SKPPO) continues to deliver significant results in its intensified campaign against criminality under the strong leadership of Provincial Director, Police Colonel Bernard L. Lao.

In a report covering April 11 to 19, 2025, SKPPO recorded notable accomplishments in its crackdown on illegal drugs, wanted persons, and loose firearms, as part of its province-wide effort to maintain peace and order.

A total of eight anti-illegal drug operations were conducted during the period, resulting in the arrest of 12 drug suspects. Authorities also confiscated around 163.15 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱1,109,420.

Meanwhile, in its sustained campaign to prevent gun-related violence, particularly ahead of the 2025 National and Local Elections, the SKPPO carried out six operations against loose firearms. These operations led to the arrest of six individuals and the recovery of six unlicensed firearms.

The province’s intensified manhunt efforts also paid off, with the successful capture of one Most Wanted Person listed at the Regional Level, along with seven other individuals wanted for various criminal offenses.

PCOL Lao commended his personnel for their dedication and hard work, emphasizing the SKPPO’s commitment to safeguarding Sultan Kudarat communities.

“These accomplishments reflect our sustained dedication to serve and protect. We will not rest in our campaign against criminality in our province. We urge the community to continue supporting our initiatives for a safer and drug-free Sultan Kudarat,” Lao said.

The SKPPO assured the public that all police operations are carried out in strict compliance with legal procedures and with full respect for human rights, reinforcing its mission to create a peaceful and orderly environment for all Sultan Kudarateños.
