General Santos City, March 19, 2025 – A police operation conducted by the Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) led to the arrest of a Top 10 Regional Level Most Wanted Person for violation of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The arrest took place along Abdawa Street, in front of Messy Burger, Barangay Dadiangas North, General Santos City. It was carried out by personnel from Police Station 1, General Santos City Police Office (GSCPO), in coordination with the Investigation and Detective Management Branch (IDMB GSCPO), City Intelligence Unit (CIU GSCPO), and City Mobile Force Company (CMFC GSCPO). The operation was conducted under the leadership of PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente, Regional Director of PRO 12.
The suspect, identified as alias “Jun,” 40 years old and a resident of General Santos City, is currently under the custody of the arresting police station.
PBGEN Ardiente emphasized the significance of the arrest in the ongoing campaign against illegal drugs and criminality in the region.
“The successful police operation is yet another manifestation of PRO 12’s resolute desire to eradicate illegal drug activities, safeguard the nation’s security, and uphold the rule of law,” he stated.
