Davao City – In a significant breakthrough in the fight against criminality, the Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) successfully served 72 warrants of arrest, leading to the apprehension of 70 wanted individuals across the Davao Region from March 17 to 23, 2025. This achievement underscores PRO 11’s unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and order in the region.
Among those arrested, four individuals were identified as high-priority targets at the regional, provincial, municipal, city, and station levels. These suspects face charges for violations of Republic Act 7610, also known as the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act. Additionally, authorities captured 16 most-wanted persons along with 50 other fugitives within the covered period.
PRO 11 Regional Director, PBGEN Leon Victor Z. Rosete, commended the dedicated efforts of the police units involved in the operation, emphasizing their relentless pursuit of justice and commitment to ensuring lawbreakers are held accountable. He reaffirmed the agency’s resolve in tracking down individuals evading arrest to guarantee public safety.
Furthermore, PRO 11 remains steadfast in supporting the directives of the Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), PGEN Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, in intensifying the nationwide crackdown on wanted persons. This effort is part of a broader strategy to enhance national security and ensure a safer environment, particularly in preparation for the upcoming 2025 National and Local Elections.
As PRO 11 continues its rigorous law enforcement initiatives, the agency calls on the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with authorities in their mission to uphold justice and maintain peace throughout the Davao Region.
