Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon – Personnel from the 3rd MF Platoon, 1st Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company, led by PMAJ Anthony Oraye Townend, Officer-In-Charge, swiftly responded to a report regarding a firearm-related harassment incident in Barangay Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, law enforcement officers coordinated with the Manolo Fortich Municipal Police Station and proceeded to the location. The suspect, a 25-year-old male, was found in possession of a .45 caliber Para Ord 1911 pistol with serial number B39957. Additionally, authorities confiscated one steel magazine and six pieces of .45 caliber cartridges.
Following the successful operation, PCOL Culaway commended the personnel involved, stating, “These accomplishments reflect a strong commitment to upholding the law and ensuring public safety, particularly during the electoral process, where safeguarding the community is of utmost importance.”
The arrested suspect and the confiscated firearm were transported to the Manolo Fortich Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. Authorities continue to urge the public to report any suspicious activities to maintain peace and order in the community.
