The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) has announced plans to establish its fifth Central 911 Satellite Station in Malabog this year, aiming to enhance emergency response services for residents in remote areas.

According to Rudy Encabo, CDRRMO Assistant Head, the new facility will significantly improve access to emergency assistance for the residents of Malabog and nearby communities.

“This will be a big help, especially for those living in remote areas like Malabog, as they will be able to avail of emergency services immediately,” Encabo said during the I-Speak Media Forum on Thursday.

The CDRRMO currently operates Central 911 satellite stations in Baganihan, Calinan, Toril, and Cabantian. The addition of the Malabog station is expected to further strengthen the city’s emergency response network.

Construction of the new facility is scheduled to begin in July.
