Polomolok, South Cotabato – Law enforcement authorities seized six bricks of suspected marijuana leaves weighing approximately three kilos, with an estimated market value of Php 360,000.00, during an operation at a parcel warehouse in Barangay Glamang, Polomolok, South Cotabato. The operation took place on March 5, 2025, at around 10:30 in the morning.

According to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 12 Regional Director Benjamin C. Recites III, the interdiction operation stemmed from an intelligence report indicating that a parcel from Quiapo, Metro Manila, addressed to an individual identified as Alias Jayar from General Santos City, contained bricks of suspected marijuana leaves.
The successful operation was carried out through the coordinated efforts of multiple law enforcement units, including the PDEA Sarangani Provincial Office, PDEA Regional Special Enforcement Team, PDEA South Cotabato Provincial Office, PDEA Seaport and Airport Interdiction Units, Philippine Coast Guard Intelligence Group Southern Mindanao, and the Polomolok Municipal Police Station. Narcotic Detection Dogs (NDDs) also played a crucial role in identifying the illicit shipment.
