Zamboanga City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zamboanga City Office, in collaboration with the Technical Support Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 (RMFB-9), successfully conducted an anti-drug operation at Martha Drive, Barangay San Jose Gusu, on January 10, 2025, at 9:40 PM.
The operation led to the arrest of John-John Patagoc y Francisco, a 45-year-old resident of the area, who is suspected of involvement in illegal drug activities.
Authorities confiscated approximately twelve grams of suspected shabu, valued at an estimated Php81,600, along with the marked buy-bust money used in the operation.
The suspect will face charges for violating Sections 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
This operation highlights the continued commitment of PDEA and its partner law enforcement units to combat illegal drug activities in the region. The agencies reaffirm their dedication to ensuring safer, drug-free communities in Zamboanga City and surrounding areas.
