Pagalungan, Maguindanao del Sur — A woman was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Poblacion, Pagalungan, Maguindanao del Sur, at approximately 4:45 AM on Friday, December 28, 2024.
The suspect, identified as “Bai,” a 32-year-old married resident of Proper Inug-ug, Pagalungan del Sur, was apprehended following reliable intelligence reports of ongoing drug transactions in the area. Authorities led by OIC PCPT Razul G. Pandulo of the Pagalungan Municipal Police Station (MPS), in collaboration with the 4th MP, 2nd PMFC, and RDEU, carried out the surveillance operation that led to the suspect’s capture.
Confiscated from the suspect’s possession was a medium-sized heat-sealed transparent sachet containing a substance believed to be shabu. The item weighed approximately 41.07 grams, with an estimated street value of PHP 279,276.00.
The suspect, along with the seized evidence, is currently under the custody of the Pagalungan MPS for proper documentation and disposition.
Meanwhile, authorities from the Pagalungan MPS continue to monitor and intensify operations against other drug suspects in the area to further curb illegal drug activities.
