Davao del Norte – Authorities are on high alert following the escape of two Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) from the Davao del Norte Provincial Rehabilitation Center on the afternoon of December 26, 2024. The fugitives, identified as Sindaton Ondoy and Abellas Jonnel, managed to flee the facility at approximately 2:40 PM.
In a statement, the Davao del Norte Provincial Jail urged the public to remain vigilant and assist in locating the escapees. “Authorities are on high alert and request public assistance. If you have any information, please contact or message the DavNor Provincial Jail Facebook page immediately. Thank you for your cooperation,” the statement read.
Law enforcement units have intensified their operations to track down the fugitives, deploying additional personnel and resources to ensure the public’s safety. The circumstances surrounding the escape are currently under investigation.
