Malalag, Davao del Sur – A joint anti-illegal drug operation conducted on December 9, 2024, in Purok 2, Barangay New Baclayon, Malalag, led to the arrest of the Region’s Top 10 High-Value Individual, identified by the alias “Tagalog.”
The operation, spearheaded by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 11 (RPDEU 11) in coordination with the Malalag Municipal Police Station, Davao del Sur Police Provincial Office (DSPPO), Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), also resulted in the confiscation of significant drug-related items.
Seized Items
Recovered from the possession of the suspect were:
- Heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 68,000.00
- One genuine Php 1,000 bill
- One light green cellphone with a black casing
- One black RUSI motorcycle without a plate number
The suspect is now under the custody of the Malalag Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges. Meanwhile, the confiscated drug evidence has been turned over to the Regional Forensic Unit 11 for examination.
