A 52-year-old man was arrested after a search warrant was served at his residence in Barangay Kadi, Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat, on the morning of December 15, 2024.

Police Major Ronalyn P. Domider, Chief of the Senator Ninoy Aquino Municipal Police Station, identified the suspect as “Proceso,” a married resident of the area.

According to PMaj Domider, the operation was conducted at around 5:15 AM. Authorities recovered an unlicensed firearm from the suspect’s home—a homemade 12-gauge rifle along with 19 rounds of ammunition.

The suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act 10591, also known as the “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.”

The Philippine National Police (PNP), in coordination with other government agencies, continues to intensify its campaign against criminal activities. This initiative aligns with the administration’s priorities to combat drug syndicates and individuals engaging in illegal activities.

Authorities remind the public that possessing unlicensed firearms carries severe penalties under the law.
