Authorities seized an estimated Php409,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested a suspect in a joint buy-bust operation in Barangay Casisang, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, on October 1, 2024.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Virgilio David Cruz, Officer-In-Charge of Malaybalay City Police Station, identified the suspect as “Bern,” a 48-year-old resident of the area.
During the operation, officers confiscated seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 60 grams, along with Php1,000 in marked buy-bust money.
The suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
The Philippine National Police (PNP) emphasized its ongoing commitment to intensifying efforts against illegal drugs to ensure public safety and security.
