Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido, Buhangin, Davao City – In a significant victory in the fight against criminality, the Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11), led by Acting Regional Director PBGEN Leon Victor Z. Rosete, has successfully carried out a series of operations from October 14 to 18, 2024, resulting in the arrest of numerous wanted individuals.
During the operations, law enforcement officers served a total of 76 warrants of arrest, capturing 24 Most Wanted Persons and 46 Other Wanted Persons. Among those apprehended was Antonio Teves Ungab, also known as “Boboy,” who had been topping the Station Level Most Wanted List. Ungab was wanted for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165), related to drug trafficking and possession.
Another high-profile arrest was that of Louie Amodia Deloso, the second most wanted individual for the crime of rape. In addition, Magallanes Dennis y Mendicor, ranked fourth for violations of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (RA 10591), was also taken into custody. The authorities also apprehended Rowena Revilla Gelburion, the 10th most wanted person, charged with two counts under the Child Abuse Law (RA 7610).
The success of these operations highlights PRO 11’s ongoing commitment to intensify efforts in apprehending individuals involved in serious criminal activities. The campaign serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies in ensuring public safety and upholding the rule of law in the region.
