Cotabato City – The Top 3 Most Wanted Person at the city level, identified as alias “Nas,” 42 years old, was arrested on September 9, 2024, for violations of Republic Act 9165, also known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.” The arrest took place on Pansacal Street, Rosary Heights 10, Cotabato City.
Authorities confirmed that the successful operation was conducted by the City Intelligence Unit (CIU) of the Cotabato City Police Office (CCPO), in collaboration with the tracker team of Police Station 2 – CCPO and the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit – CCPO. The operation resulted in the arrest of the suspect based on a warrant for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165. No bail was recommended for the Section 5 violation, while a bail of Php300,000 was set for the Section 11 violation.
The arrested individual is currently in the custody of the respective police station for documentation and proper disposition.
