BUUG, Zamboanga Sibugay – A supporter of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) voluntarily surrendered to operatives of the 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company on Saturday, September 22, 2024.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Flint S. Depnag, Force Commander of the 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company, identified the surrenderer as alias “Neth,” a resident of Barangay Don Perfecto RT Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Alias “Neth” was a former supporter of the Militia ng Bayan, Guerrilla Front Committee SECOM Feliciano “A.” He decided to return to the fold of the law with the desire to live a peaceful and orderly life with his family.

The successful surrender was a result of the efforts of the 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company to de-escalate and encourage those who have strayed to return to the government’s side.

Under the program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. aimed at eradicating insurgency, the Philippine National Police (PNP) continues to encourage remaining members and supporters of the Communist Terrorist Group to surrender and take advantage of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) as part of the journey towards a New Philippines.
