A red Toyota Hi-Lux pick-up truck, owned by Basilan Second District Provincial Board Member Monsoy Aramil, plunged into a deep ravine along the Secretary Ramos Highway in Barangay Igabay, Balabagan, Lanao del Sur on the morning of Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Board Member Aramil, along with four others, including the driver, was en route to Cotabato City from Zamboanga City when the accident occurred. Fortunately, all occupants of the vehicle emerged without any serious injuries.
The Balabagan Municipal Police Station provided an initial statement confirming that no major harm befell the passengers. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
