PDEA ROIX Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Office and the Dipolog City Police Station- Special Drug Enforcement Team conducted a buy-bust operation on August 14, 2024 around 7:50PM at Barangay Gulayon, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, which resulted in the dismantling of drug den and the arrest of three drug suspects.
The arrested suspects were identified as Rey Vincent Tacoda Panoril, 18 years old, male, single, high school graduate, unemployed; Russel Velarde Mentolaroc, 30 years old, male, single, high school graduate, construction worker; and Killton Damme Cantoneros Solamillo, 20 years old, male, single, construction worker. All three are residents of Barangay Gulayon, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.
Confiscated from the suspects were eight (
heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, containing more or less ten (10) grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of Php 68,000.00.
Cases for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 15, Article II of RA 9165 will be filed in court against the suspects.
