PDEA ROIX-Regional Special Enforcement Team joint with PDEA- Zamboanga City Office, Technical Support Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, and Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted a buy-bust operation on August 8, 2024 at around 12:30 in the afternoon at Brgy. Canelar, Zamboanga City. The operation resulted to the arrest of one drug personality and the confiscation of more or less one kilo of suspected shabu.
Operatives identified the arrested suspect as Akeno Muharrani y Damming, male, 24 years old, single, elementary graduate, unemployed, and a resident of Brgy. Kagay, Talipao, Sulu, while identified as Albamer Hajimulla aka “Bado/Long Hair/Bams” was able to elude arrest.
Confiscated during the operation were one (1) vacuum-sealed transparent plastic pack containing more or less 1000 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of Php 6.8 million pesos, bundles of boodle money topped with one genuine 1000 bill used as buy-bust money, android phone, several kinds of plastic and transparent bags, and red cream foil pack labeled DA HONG PAO TEA.
The suspect will be charged in court for violation of Section 5 (Selling of Illegal Drugs), Article II of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
