Davao Region, Philippines — The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11), under the leadership of Regional Director PBGEN Leon Victor Z. Rosete, achieved a significant milestone in its campaign against criminality during the week of November 18-24, 2024, with the arrest of 89 wanted individuals.

The crackdown included 10 High-Value Targets from the Regional, Provincial, Municipal, City, and Station-level Top 10 Wanted Persons lists, 25 Most Wanted Persons, and 54 Other Wanted Persons linked to various criminal activities. Among these, the arrest of the Provincial’s Top 2 Most Wanted Person for two counts of statutory rape stood out as a key accomplishment, demonstrating the office’s commitment to addressing heinous crimes and ensuring that perpetrators face justice.

Strategic Law Enforcement

The operations were conducted under the guidance of Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGen Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, who has consistently emphasized the need for intensified law enforcement to apprehend fugitives.

PBGEN Rosete attributed the success of the operations to the tireless efforts and collaboration of police officers across the Davao Region, bolstered by intelligence-led strategies and the active involvement of the community.

“These accomplishments were made possible not only by the diligence of our personnel but also by the unwavering support of the community,” Rosete stated. “We urge everyone to remain vigilant and to continue working with us in our shared mission of ensuring peace and security.”

Community Engagement and Sustained Momentum

PRO 11 reiterated its commitment to sustaining its momentum in the fight against crime. The public is encouraged to report any information about fugitives through the PRO 11 hotline or their nearest police station, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation in achieving lasting peace and security.

Building a Safer Davao Region

The arrest of 89 fugitives in a single week highlights PRO 11’s resolve to uphold public safety and bring justice to victims. As the Davao Region moves closer to a crime-free community, the collaboration between law enforcement and the public remains crucial.

PBGEN Rosete assured residents that PRO 11 will continue to enhance its operations and pursue its mission to build a safer and more secure region. “Together, we can create a community where justice prevails, and everyone can live without fear.”
