GENERAL SANTOS CITY — A businessman’s house in Purok 7, New Society, Barangay Apopong was ransacked by unidentified burglars who carted away several valuable appliances on the night of December 29, 2025.
Authorities identified the homeowner as Reypaul Ransay, who was reportedly away for an important engagement when the break-in happened. Residents in the area noticed scattered belongings around the property and immediately alerted police past 6:00 p.m.
Initial investigation revealed that the suspects forcibly destroyed the main gate’s lock to gain entry. Once inside, they allegedly took six air-conditioning units, a refrigerator, a television set, a projector, and other household items.
Police said the theft may have been premeditated, as the suspects likely monitored the homeowner’s absence before striking.
Investigators are currently reviewing possible security footage and interviewing witnesses to identify the culprits. Authorities urge residents in nearby areas to remain vigilant and immediately report suspicious individuals or activities.
The case is now under thorough investigation by local police as they track down the perpetrators behind the bold robbery.
