Butuan City, June 9 — Police Regional Office 13 (PRO-13) put its modernization efforts to the test today, as Regional Director Police Brigadier General Christopher N. Abrahano led a simulation activity to showcase the region’s five-minute police response capability during a press briefing held at Camp Col Rafael C. Rodriguez.

The event was attended by the PRO-13 command group, regional and personal staff, and members of the PRO-13 Press Corps.

In his message, RD Abrahano emphasized the importance of the three leadership pillars introduced by the Chief of the Philippine National Police, Police General Nicolas D. Torre III: swift and responsive public service, unity and morale within the ranks, and modernization anchored on accountability.

A key highlight of the event was the live simulation of the five-minute police response time. Media participants were asked to select a location for a mock incident, choosing Surigao City as the target area. The Surigao City Police Station quickly responded, successfully deploying patrollers who arrived at the designated location within the prescribed time.

“Under the leadership of PGen Torre, rest assured that we remain steadfast in upholding his directives to better serve and protect the Caraganons. We will deliver prompt and reliable services in pursuit of a safer and more secure community,” said RD Abrahano.

The press briefing also provided updates on PRO-13’s ongoing programs and accomplishments, including the enhancement of A.G.A.P. Caraga, a mobile application developed by the regional office to improve police response and public safety. The app, currently available for Android users, will soon be launched for iOS devices.

Through this initiative, PRO-13 aims to strengthen its engagement with the public and media partners while reinforcing its commitment to fast, efficient, and accountable policing in the Caraga Region.
