Mawab and Laak, Davao de Oro — June 2, 2025 — Police officers in the municipalities of Mawab and Laak have intensified their community engagement and peacekeeping efforts through continuous house-to-house visits and horseback patrols, particularly in remote areas where regular vehicles have limited access.
In Barangay Andili, Mawab, PSMS Rey D. Coloma and his team are making rounds on horseback under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge PCPT Eduardo C. Manila. Their efforts aim to enhance police visibility and strengthen ties with residents by offering a direct and consistent presence on the ground.
Meanwhile, in the municipality of Laak, police officers led by Acting Chief of Police PMAJ Ariel A. Pascual are conducting similar patrols in the rural areas of Barangay Macopa. These mounted operations ensure that even the most isolated communities are regularly monitored and can receive prompt police response when needed.
