The operation led to the arrest of a 48-year-old suspect, identified only by the alias “Van,” a resident of Zone 1, Mohon, Tagoloan. Police identified him as a Street Level Individual known for his involvement in illegal drug distribution in the area.

Seized from the suspect were six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing approximately 35 grams of suspected shabu, one Delta brand cigarette, forty one-peso coins, and a marked ₱500 bill used in the transaction.

The confiscated drugs were submitted to the Regional Forensic Unit in Cagayan de Oro City for laboratory analysis, while the suspect is now under the custody of Tagoloan police for proper disposition.

PBGen Jaysen C. De Guzman, regional police director, lauded the successful operation, emphasizing the continued dedication of law enforcement personnel in the anti-drug campaign.
