DATU PIANG, MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR — A man was shot dead inside his own home by an unidentified gunman on Friday night, September 18, in Sitio Landing Fish, Barangay Buayan, Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur.
The victim was identified only as Saudi, a resident of the same area.
Based on initial information, the unidentified assailant reportedly entered Saudi’s residence before opening fire. The attack left the victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds, resulting in his immediate death.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, as authorities have yet to establish how the assailant gained entry into the house or whether the victim was specifically targeted.
