Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur — Twenty-three small sachets believed to contain shabu were found scattered on the road in Purok Waling-Waling, Barangay Napolan, Pagadian City, early Wednesday morning, December 17, 2025.
Initial reports suggest the contraband may have fallen from a passing carrier, potentially en route to the city center. The incident prompted immediate police action, including an inventory of the recovered packages and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding their appearance on the street.
Authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage in the area to identify the person responsible for transporting the illegal drugs. The Pagadian City Police Station has confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
No arrests have been made so far, and the police have urged residents to report any suspicious activity related to the incident.
