DAVAO CITY — Police operatives from Tugbok Police Station 9 arrested a high-value drug personality during a dawn operation in Purok 11, Bypass Road, Barangay Mintal, Davao City at around 1:36 a.m. on November 17, 2025.
Authorities identified the suspect only as alias “Ringgo”, 37, who was initially caught selling suspected shabu worth ₱13,600 in a buy-bust operation. Following his arrest, police also recovered one kilo of suspected dried marijuana with an estimated street value of ₱120,000.
Police confirmed that “Ringgo” is listed as Top 3 City-Level Target and a RATS-TUGIS personality in Davao City, making his arrest a major blow to illegal drug activities in the area.
During the operation, officers additionally seized an improvised handgun and several rounds of live ammunition from the suspect, further strengthening the criminal charges he will face.
The suspect is now under police custody as authorities prepare to file cases related to violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
