KIDAPAWAN CITY — The vibrant culture and breathtaking destinations of Cotabato and the SOCCSKSARGEN Region are taking center stage at the Kalivungan Festival 2025 through the Cotabato Tourism and Department of Tourism–Region 12 (DOT-12) booth located at The Basket, Provincial Capitol Compound, Amas, Kidapawan City.

The booth serves as a window to the region’s rich heritage and natural wonders, featuring travel information, promotional displays, and highlights of must-see destinations across South Cotabato, Cotabato Province, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, and General Santos City.

Among the featured attractions from Cotabato Province are the enchanting Matigol Falls in Arakan, the twin cascades of Tausuvan Falls in Magpet, the mystical Pisan Cave in Kabacan, the breathtaking UK Peak in Aleosan, and the family-friendly Carmen Eco-Tourism Park and Spring Resort. Visitors are also introduced to Sitio Maupot in Magpet, the solemn Divine Mercy Diocesan Shrine in Tulunan, the soothing Boiling Lake Agco in Kidapawan City, and the iconic Mt. Apo Natural Park, straddling Kidapawan, Makilala, and Magpet.

Beyond Cotabato, the booth highlights the thrilling Seven Falls Zipline and T’daan Kini Falls in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, the lush SG Farm in Tupi, and the Mahintana Bamboo Landmark in Polomolok. Sarangani Province boasts the pristine Tuka Marine Park in Kiamba and the Maitum Municipal Gallery, while Sultan Kudarat showcases the Baras Bird Sanctuary in Tacurong City and the scenic La Palmera Mountain Ridge in Columbio.

Adding more color and rhythm, the booth also celebrates the region’s most popular festivals — the T’nalak Festival of South Cotabato, Tuna Festival of General Santos City, Kalimudan Festival of Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani Bay Festival, Timpupo Festival of Kidapawan City, and Cotabato Province’s very own Kalivungan Festival.

Tourism officials said the showcase is a way to remind both local and international travelers that SOCCSKSARGEN — or simply SOX — is a treasure trove of adventure, culture, and tradition waiting to be explored.

As the Kalivungan Festival continues, visitors are encouraged not to miss the Cotabato Tourism and SOX Booth, where the charm of nature, heritage, and hospitality of the region come together.
