Panglima Estino, Sulu – A historic reconciliation took place today in Panglima Estino as two warring clans finally ended their decades-long feud through a formal Rido Settlement led by the local government.

The settlement, spearheaded by Mayor Benshar Estino, marked the resolution of a 41-year-long conflict between the families of Ibni Allang and MNLF Commander Titoh Munoh. Both clans agreed to set aside their differences and embrace peace, witnessed by local leaders and residents.

Mayor Estino emphasized that the reconciliation is a testament to the town’s ongoing journey toward peace and unity, saying that such milestones bring hope for a brighter and more progressive future for Sulu.

The successful settlement highlights the local government’s continuing efforts to eliminate clan feuds in the province. It also reflects the commitment of the people of Panglima Estino to work together in fostering development and lasting peace in Lupah Sug.
