El Salvador City, August 4, 2025 — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued a regional weather forecast warning Mindanao residents to expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms throughout the day and night due to localized thunderstorms.
According to the forecast released at 5:00 AM today, light to moderate winds from the southeast to southwest will prevail across the island with slight to moderate seas, ranging from 0.6 to 2.1 meters.

Zamboanga Peninsula
- Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Isabela City
- Weather: Partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms
- Temperature: 24–35°C
- Winds: Light to moderate (Southeast to Southwest)
- Seas: Slight to moderate
Northern Mindanao
- Bukidnon: 22–34°C
- Camiguin: 26–33°C
- Lanao del Norte: 24–32°C

- Misamis Oriental: 26–32°C
- All areas under this region will experience partly cloudy skies with possible isolated thunderstorms.

- Weather: Partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms
- Temperature: 24–35°C
- Winds: Light to moderate (Southeast to Southwest)

SOCCSKSARGEN
- North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani
- Weather: Partly cloudy with chances of afternoon or evening thunderstorms
- Temperature: 23–33°C
- Winds: Light to moderate
- Seas (for coastal provinces): Slight to moderate
Caraga Region
- Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands
- Weather: Partly cloudy to at times cloudy with localized thunderstorms

- Winds: Light to moderate (Southeast to Southwest)
- Seas: Slight to moderate
Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM)
- Cotabato City, Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi
- Weather: Partly cloudy skies throughout the day with isolated thunderstorms expected
- Temperature: 23–34°C
- Winds: Light to moderate (Southeast to Southwest)
- Seas: Slight to moderate
PAGASA advises residents to take precautions against possible flash floods and landslides, especially in areas prone to heavy rain. Fisherfolk and those with small sea vessels are also reminded to monitor sea conditions regularly.
