A Low Pressure Area (LPA) located 370 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte continues to influence weather patterns across Mindanao, bringing cloudy skies, scattered rains, and thunderstorms, particularly over the Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga regions, according to the latest forecast from PAGASA-MINPRSD.
The prevailing southwest monsoon (habagat) is also enhancing rainfall, prompting warnings of possible flash floods and landslides in areas affected by severe thunderstorms.
Here’s the detailed weather outlook per province across Mindanao:
Zamboanga Peninsula
Cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in the following areas:
- Zamboanga City: 26–30°C (PM), 25–31°C (AM)
- Zamboanga del Norte: 26–30°C (PM), 25–31°C (AM)
- Zamboanga del Sur: 23–30°C (PM), 22–31°C (AM)
- Zamboanga Sibugay: 23–29°C (PM), 22–30°C (AM)
- Isabela City: 23–25°C (PM), 22–27°C (AM)
Winds will be light to moderate from the west to southwest, with slight to moderate seas.
Northern Mindanao
Cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms will affect:
- Bukidnon: 20–30°C (PM), 20–32°C (AM)
- Camiguin: 25–31°C (PM), 24–33°C (AM)
- Lanao del Norte: 26–31°C (PM), 25–32°C (AM)

Scattered rains and thunderstorms are likely in:

Mixed weather conditions across the region:
- Cotabato City: 24–30°C (PM), 23–31°C (AM) (partly cloudy with isolated rains)
