SUMISIP, Basilan — Panic gripped residents of Barangay Tumahubong, Sumisip on Saturday night after a grenade was hurled at a lotto outlet, authorities confirmed.

The explosion occurred past 8 p.m., causing fear and alarm among locals in the area. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Police and military units immediately responded to the scene and are now conducting an investigation to determine the perpetrators and the motive behind the attack.
