Mindanao – July 14, 2025 — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued a regional weather forecast warning of widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms across Mindanao today due to the continued effect of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
In its 5:00 AM bulletin, PAGASA said that the Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms throughout the day and into the night, with possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rainfall. The rest of Mindanao is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

General Outlook
Winds across the island are blowing from the southwest to west at light to moderate speeds. Coastal waters throughout Mindanao are expected to remain slight to moderate, with wave heights between 0.6 to 1.5 meters.
PAGASA advises residents, especially those in low-lying and mountainous areas, to stay alert for possible flash floods and landslides due to localized thunderstorms and prolonged rainfall in some areas.
