GENERAL SANTOS CITY — In a sweeping series of intensified anti-criminality efforts, the Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) has successfully captured five of SOCCSKSARGEN’s Most Wanted Persons at the regional level, all facing grave charges of rape and statutory rape. The operations took place across multiple provinces between July 15 and 16, 2025, as part of the region-wide Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO).
Among the arrested individuals is alias “Kai,” 21, a self-employed resident of Barangay San Isidro, General Santos City. He was nabbed around 3:20 PM on July 15 by combined forces from General Santos City Police Office (GSCPO), City Intelligence Unit, CIDG-South ARMM, and RHPU-12. The arrest was made based on a Warrant of Arrest for Statutory Rape issued by Judge Jerome Clarin Beatisola of RTC Branch 11, with no bail recommended.
Earlier that same day at 2:40 PM, alias “Berto,” 30, a farmer from Barangay Bang-Bang, Matalam, Cotabato, was apprehended by a joint team from Antipas Municipal Police Station, PIU of Cotabato PPO, and RIU-12. He was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Rape issued by Judge Arvin Sadiri B. Balagot of RTC Branch 17, Kidapawan City. No bail was also recommended in his case.
In President Quirino, Sultan Kudarat, the Top 10 Most Wanted Regional Level fugitive alias “Xebec,” 55, a farmer, was captured on July 16 in Purok Sampaguita, Barangay Poblacion. The arrest, carried out by a multi-agency team led by President Quirino MPS and various intelligence and CIDG units, stemmed from a Warrant of Arrest for Statutory Rape issued by Judge Jose Emmanuel Dignadice Jabido of RTC Branch 20, Tacurong City. The case, filed under Criminal Case No. 25-8811-PQ, also included no bail recommendation.
Also arrested in Sultan Kudarat on July 15 was alias “Jeric,” 35, of Esperanza town, who was wanted for four counts of Rape. He was caught through coordinated efforts of the Esperanza MPS, SKPPO, PIU, CIDG, RIU-12, and HPG-12. The warrant for his arrest was issued by the proper court, and he is now under police custody for documentation and further legal proceedings.
Lastly, another high-value fugitive, alias “Randy,” 41, was arrested in Matalam, Cotabato on July 15. He had also been listed as the Top 10 Most Wanted Regional Level and was facing charges of Rape. His arrest was carried out by personnel from Matalam MPS, Cotabato PIU, PHPT North Cotabato, and CIDG. He is currently detained at Matalam MPS pending appropriate disposition, with no bail recommended.
Police Regional Office 12 lauded the seamless coordination among units and reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to tracking down fugitives and ensuring justice for victims of heinous crimes.
“These arrests signify the seriousness of our campaign against wanted persons, especially those accused of crimes that deeply affect the safety and dignity of our citizens,” PRO 12 said in a statement.
