The City Government of Tagum once again takes pride in celebrating the remarkable achievements of its scholars under the Expanded City Educational Scholarship Program (E-CESPRO) and the Tagum City Scholars Guild (TSG). These achievements are not only personal milestones for the scholars, but also triumphs for the City of Tagum, which continues to invest in education as a cornerstone of community development. Through programs like E-CESPRO and the active engagement of TSG, the LGU provides both academic and moral support to financially disadvantaged but deserving students.
Beyond scholarships, the city’s education arm—the City Education Development Division—also runs initiatives like TABANG ESWKELA 2025, a back-to-school program providing free school supplies to public school students from low-income families. With materials such as notebooks, pens, crayons, envelopes, and more, students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 can gear up for the new school year without the burden of added expenses.
These efforts underscore the LGU’s commitment to its youth: creating equal opportunities for education, encouraging ambition, and paving the way for success stories like those of the recent board passers.
As the City Government declares with pride, “Para sa Kabataan, kaya sa kabatan-ung Tagumenyos!”—a powerful reminder that when a community uplifts its youth, everyone shares in their success.
