Jobseekers to gain access to thousands of opportunities and government services in celebration of Independence Day

In celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day, SM Supermalls is partnering once again with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for the Kalayaan Job Fairs, set to take place on June 12 across 28 SM malls nationwide.

This year’s event aims to offer more than just employment opportunities—it promises a comprehensive jobseeking experience. With hundreds of local and overseas employers, thousands of job openings, on-the-spot hiring, and the convenience of government services under one roof, jobseekers are in for a well-rounded career-building event.

In Mindanao, the Kalayaan Job Fairs will be held at SM City Davao and SM City General Santos, among other participating locations across the country.

One-Stop Opportunity Hub

Jobseekers can expect accessible booths not only from employers but also from key government agencies such as the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, PhilHealth, and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). These services will help applicants process their requirements on-site, streamlining their job application process.

Whether you’re a fresh graduate, a seasoned professional, or a returning Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), the job fair offers opportunities tailored to diverse needs and qualifications.

Real Stories, Real Hires

Past participants have praised the Kalayaan Job Fairs for their efficiency and impact:

“I’ve been to other job fairs, pero dito lang ako na-hire on the spot. Ang daming choices, maayos ang lugar, at may mga government booths pa! Super sulit,” said Jolina, who was hired as a Sales Associate during an SM job fair.

“Mabilis po ang process. At lahat ng requirements, nandito na—tulad ng NBI, Pag-IBIG, at PhilHealth. Malaking bagay po ‘yun, sa hirap pong maghanap ng trabaho ngayon,” shared Dondon, now working as a Room Attendant.

A Movement for a Better Future

More than just a celebration of freedom, SM Supermalls views Independence Day as a moment to unlock opportunities and empower Filipino jobseekers. SM encourages attendees to come prepared—update your resume, bring extra copies, and dress professionally.
