Kidapawan City — Adventure seekers and trail runners, mark your calendars! The much-anticipated Luntian Trail Ultra Marathon 2025 is set to challenge your endurance and love for the outdoors this coming August 16–17 at the scenic RC Martinez Farm & Garden Resort.
Whether you’re a seasoned ultramarathoner or a first-time trail enthusiast, this race promises more than just a medal — it offers an unforgettable experience through some of Mindanao’s most breathtaking natural landscapes.
Participants can choose from four thrilling categories:
- 10K and 21K for those wanting a taste of the trail challenge,
- 42K for marathoners looking to push further,
- and the ultimate 70K ultra distance for the boldest runners.
Each distance features generous cutoff times, ensuring both competitive runners and determined finishers have a chance to cross the line. The routes will test stamina and spirit, but will reward runners with majestic mountain views, lush forests, and the raw beauty of nature with every stride.
Race Details and Inclusions:
🏃♂️ 70K Ultra Challenge
- Gun Start: August 16, 10:00 PM
- Cut Off: August 17, 4:00 PM (18 hours)
- Registration Fee: ₱3,200
- Note: Must have completed a 42K trail within the past year
- Inclusions: Long sleeve shirt, singlet, finisher’s medal (metal), race bib, timing chip, post-race buffet, accident insurance, and aid station supplements.
🏃♀️ 42K Marathon Trail
- Gun Start: August 17, 2:00 AM
- Cut Off: 2:00 PM (12 hours)
- Fee: ₱2,600
- Requirement: Must have completed a 21K trail within 1 year
- Inclusions: Event shirt, singlet, metal medal, race bib, timing chip, buffet, insurance, and support stations.
🏃♂️ 21K Trail Run
- Gun Start: August 17, 5:00 AM
- Cut Off: 1:00 PM (8 hours)
- Fee: ₱2,000
- Inclusions: Event shirt, metal medal, bib, chip, buffet, insurance, and supplements.
🏃♀️ 10K Trail Dash
- Gun Start: August 17, 5:30 AM
- Cut Off: 11:30 AM (6 hours)
- Fee: ₱1,700
- Inclusions: Same as 21K.
Limited Slots, Unlimited Spirit
Registration is open from June 2 to July 31, 2025, but with limited slots available, interested runners are encouraged to sign up early and start training for what promises to be a physically demanding yet spiritually fulfilling adventure.
