General Santos City – April 19, 2025 — A notorious drug peddler was arrested and over ₱53,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated during a law enforcement operation conducted by the Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) in Barangay Fatima, General Santos City.
The arrest took place at Zone 10B, Block 6, Barangay Fatima, as part of the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) led by PRO 12. Authorities identified the suspect only by his alias “Jeff,” a 24-year-old male resident of the said barangay.
Police operatives from Station 7, the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), City Mobile Force Company, City Intelligence Unit of General Santos City Police Office, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 12, and the Regional Intelligence Division carried out the operation. Acting on a search warrant, the team entered the suspect’s residence where they seized two sachets of suspected shabu and various drug paraphernalia.
Initial estimates placed the value of the confiscated drugs at ₱53,720.
The suspect and the recovered evidence were brought to Police Station 7 for proper documentation and processing.
“PRO 12 remains steadfast in its commitment to eradicating illegal drug activities across the region, ensuring a safer and drug-free SOCCSKSARGEN,” said Police Brigadier General Arnold P. Ardiente, Regional Director of PRO 12.
Authorities said the operation forms part of the broader campaign to suppress illegal drug activities and other criminal elements in the region.
