Mindanao Braces for Scattered Rains and Thunderstorms Due to ITCZ

Mindanao is set to experience varied weather conditions today, May 27, 2025, with the Zamboanga Peninsula facing cloudy skies, scattered rains, and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). Moderate to heavy rains may lead to flash floods or landslides in vulnerable areas. Other regions will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers. Light to moderate east to southeast winds and slight to moderate coastal waters (0.6–1.5 meters) are expected.
