KIDAPAWAN CITY – March 25, 2025 – The Jobstart Employers Forum successfully took place on Tuesday, March 25, at Kuya Rey’s Foodhouse, marking the official launch of the 2025 Jobstart Philippines Program.

Spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region XII, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), the forum served as a platform to introduce the Jobstart Philippines Program to local employers and foster collaborative partnerships among stakeholders. The initiative aims to enhance the technical and soft skills of young job seekers, equipping them for better employment opportunities.

DOLE Assistant Regional Director Fatima Qourayce Bataga, representing Regional Director Joel Gonzales, attended the event alongside Chief Labor and Employment Officer (LEO) and CFA Head Ernesto H. Colosi, MPA-OS, LEO II Donna Mae O. Baron, and LEO III/RCLI Engr. Joshua Levi M. Durano.

A total of 22 key stakeholders participated in the forum, not only from Kidapawan City but also from neighboring areas, highlighting strong regional support for youth employment initiatives.

The Jobstart Philippines Program continues to play a crucial role in addressing youth unemployment by equipping young individuals with industry-relevant skills and linking them to potential employers.
