General Santos City, March 27, 2025 – Authorities confiscated illegal drugs valued at Php 144,840 during a search warrant operation at Zone 1, Block 0, Barangay Fatima, General Santos City.

The operation, led by the Police Regional Office 12 under the command of Regional Director PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente, involved multiple law enforcement units, including Police Station 7, the City Intelligence Unit (CIU), the City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) of General Santos City Police Office (GSCPO), the 1201st Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 12, the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) 12, Gensan Maritime Police Station, and the 5th Special Operations Unit (SOU) Maritime Group.

As operatives entered the suspect’s residence, the suspects managed to evade arrest and fled in an unknown direction. Despite their escape, law enforcers recovered five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 21.3 grams, along with drug paraphernalia.

Authorities conducted markings, inventory, and documentation of the confiscated evidence at the scene in the presence of a media representative and a barangay official. The seized items were later transported to Police Station 7, GSCPO, for proper disposition.

PBGEN Ardiente reaffirmed the police’s commitment to fighting illegal drugs, stating, “We will tirelessly track down those responsible for illegal drugs and hold them accountable. We are committed to eliminating the threat of illegal drugs from our society and will not stop until this mission is accomplished.”

Police continue to pursue leads to locate and apprehend the suspects.
